TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Donates Kite Festival Booth Proceeds to Charity, Partnering with Budai Fishing Port to Foster Community Well-being
On March 8, TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. enthusiastically participated in the 2025 Chiayi Budai Fishing Port Kite Carnival. The company joined local residents in celebrating the vibrant spirit of spring with colorful kites dancing in the sky. As part of its commitment to community engagement, TEINCO rented a booth at the event, adding delicious food with a charitable cause. Through the sale of grilled sausages, nostalgic egg ice cream, refreshing drinks, and balloon art, all proceeds from the day were donated to local charitable organizations, aiming to bring more love and care to the community.
With a long-standing commitment to the green energy sector, TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD has been actively involved in the development of agrivoltaic and aquavoltaic projects. The company is currently promoting a large-scale solar-fishery co-location project in the Budai area of Chiayi, integrating solar power generation with aquaculture to bring new renewable energy applicatons to traditional industries.
TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. CEO LI HUEI-PING emphasized his firm belief that a company’s growth is closely tied to the development of the local community. Given Taiwan’s limited land and dense population, renewable energy facilities are often located in rural areas. Therefore, while pursuing profitability, companies should also give back to these communities and work toward shared prosperity. TEINCO shared that on the day of the event, employees took part hands-on — from setting up the booth to preparing and cooking food — staying busy and showcasing their diverse talents. Many visitors came with their families to enjoy the kite festival, explore the booths, and indulge in grilled sausages and nostalgic egg ice cream. Children ran around joyfully with colorful balloon animals in hand, adding to the lively atmosphere.
What touched the team most was the overwhelming support from local residents. Upon learning that all booth proceeds would be donated to charity, many showed their support through action — people who originally planned to buy just one sausage ended up getting one for everyone in the family.
TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Founder GUO,MING-JIE stated that the company will continue to uphold its commitment to community engagement and social contribution by actively participating in local events of all sizes and supporting grassroots charitable organizations. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of local residents and visitors, the charity booth event concluded successfully. A total of NT$100,000, along with all booth proceeds, was donated to Budai Elementary School and local charitable groups.
