Solar power station type
There are three main types of solar power plants : rooftop, ground-mount and floating .
Rooftop solar power plant
Rooftop solar installs solar panels on the roofs of buildings to generate electricity by utilizing rooftop space. This type of power plant is commonly used on commercial or residential buildings, especially in urban areas, as it leverages existing building structures for panel installation. The advantages of rooftop power plants include not occupying ground space and being able to provide part or all of the electricity demand for the building.

Ground-mount solar power plant
Ground-mount solar installs solar panels on structural supports fixed to the ground. This type of power plant is typically suitable for large-scale power generation sites, such as solar farms or public solar facilities.
The advantage of ground-mount power plants is that they can accommodate more solar panels over a larger area, thereby offering higher power generation capacity and efficiency.

Floating solar power station
Floating_type solar installs solar panels on bodies of water, such as lakes, reservoirs, or the sea. This type of power plant is typically used in areas with large water surfaces. The advantages of floating solar include maximizing the use of water surface areas, reducing the demand for land, and improving power generation efficiency by cooling the panels through the underlying water.
