TEINCO's EPC Growth Defies Market Trends, Drives CSR Efforts and IPO Plans

TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. specializes in the design and construction of solar photovoltaic systems and was founded based on the success of parent company Tecorp's advanced power systems solution. Founder GUO,MING-JIE stated that TECORP is a veteran in the electromechanical control industry, possessing key technologies in voltage conversion for solar power systems. Leveraging this strength along with its solar EPC expertise, Teinco has successfully secured project contracts. He emphasized that among many competitors in the industry, only a few — including TEINCO, Delta, Shihlin Electric, and ALLIS ELECTRIC — have a solid foundation in power control systems.

TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. adheres firmly to ethical business practices, refusing to take shortcuts and ensuring that every deal is conducted through proper channels. The company remains unmoved by so-called “expediting fees” often requested by developers.Founder GUO,MING-JIE pointed out that there are hundreds of solar energy companies in Taiwan, employing nearly 100,000 people. However, the industry faces several challenges, including a lack of unity and the influx of unqualified players. He called on the sector to exercise self-discipline, emphasizing the importance of professional conduct, open communication with local communities, and fostering positive neighborhood relations.

CEO LI HUEI-PING also is a veteran of the solar energy industry, holding a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Leeds in the UK. He has previously worked at major multinational and publicly listed companies such as MEOUYA and Neo Solar Power. Despite the downturn in the solar industry over the past two years, he has led the company against the down trend, with project volume not only remaining steady but continuing to increase.

While some companies in the industry have become entangled in scandals, TEINCO remains resilient and unaffected by market turbulence. Several of its flagship projects continue to be widely discussed and heralded, including Taiwan’s first conversion of a burial ground into a solar site at Xizhou Cemetery, and the installation of a 4MW rooftop solar system at the Xiluo Fruit and Vegetable Market — the first large-scale public market solar project in the country. The company has built up a track record of over 100MW commossioned in key solar development zones such as Syuejia, Qigu, and Kouhu.
GUO,MING-JIE is optimistic about the future of agrivoltaics and has established an AI-powered agriculture and aquaculture division within the company. The team includes several masters'-level professionals with expertise in agriculture and fisheries. Drawing inspiration from the Netherlands, the goal is to advance agriculture toward automation and  continued technological innovation, making the field more attractive to younger generations.
He noted that only through smart farming can agricultural competitiveness be achieved. For example, using drones for pesticide spraying allows just two people to manage 30 hectares of farmland, demonstrating significant economies of scale and operational efficiency.

TEINCO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is scheduled to launch its initial public offering (IPO) and be listed on the Emerging Stock Board in the fourth quarter of this year. CEO LI HUEI-PING stated that the company actively engages in public welfare initiatives, regularly organizing beach cleanups and sponsoring local communities and underprivileged groups. Recent efforts, such as donating shoes to elementary school students in remote areas of Taitung and sponsoring the Budai Kite Festival, have received widespread praise. Looking ahead, while continuing steady growth, the company aims to further expand its corporate social responsibility efforts and position itself as a benchmark enterprise in the green energy sector.
